This listing includes a digital download for a chart featuring a classic German Christmas Gnome design sized to fit 4" rounds on 13 count mesh (3" on 18 count). No physical canvas will be provided.
These little German gnomes, or Heinzelmännchen, are commonly seen all around Germany but are especially prevalent at Christmas time. They are helpful little household haunts, and originated as helpers for the people of Cologne during the night (similar to the Elves and the Shoemaker story). The German Heinzelmännchen is said to be the genesis for the modern lawn gnome you know and love today! This little version is paying tribute to his German heritage with a background of pretzels. Full of room for fun decorative stitches to make your own!
